IIoT is the use of intelligent sensors and actuators to enhance manufacturing and industrial processes and can provide the infrastructure for smart cities, smart manufacturing, etc. as well as the solution to several societal challenges. The Industrial Internet of Things has a significant impact on manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain management and is employed in many industries, including transportation, mining, oil and gas, food industry, ports, etc. The main purpose of this collaboration is to establish scientific and cultural communication and networking between the universities and non-university actors centering on the education of students with scientific and industrial skills required in local industries, as well as exchange students and young academics.
